Our posse was supposed to be hiking near Ashville this weekend on a long-planned trip, but Hurricane Helene changed our plans (we are praying for all affected). Fortunately there was an opening HERE, so our getaway was salvaged in the most delightful way. We hiked Conkle's Hollow and Ash Cave, saw the Pencil Sharpener Museum, ate at La Cascada in Logan, and spent time at the cabin playing Cribbage, reading and catching up with good friends.

Our group had an amazing and relaxing weekend getaway. We spent a lot of time enjoying the hot tub and an afternoon at Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls and Ash Cave. Lots of laughs and memories.

We support each other through the years and love our time together: we laugh, cry, eat, shop, sit by the fire, play silly games, and eat some more!
